Arts Every Day

The overall goal of this unit is for students to work in cooperative teams to design and create a large mosaic geometric panel.

This two- to four-week unit introduces students to the history of Japan by exposing them to Japanʼs many arts and cultural traditions.

Using puppetry to learn about the elements of literature, 7th Grade students at Calverton Middle School participated in a three-week arts integrated unit.

This unit focuses on students enhancing their english proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking by creating objects with clay.

Universal Themes was a four-week program for 6th graders at Barclay Elementary/Middle by Erin Curran, Language Arts teacher, Barclay Elementary/ Middle School, and Diane Kuthy, visual artist.
