The Maryland Chapter of Young Audiences/Arts for Learning (YA) is a non-profit charitable organization devoted to enriching the lives and education of Maryland’s youth, educators, and families through educational and culturally diverse arts programs. The nation’s premier arts-in-education organization, Young Audiences was founded in Baltimore in 1950. Over the last 58 years, Young Audiences has developed into a network of 32 chapters in 24 states. Collectively, Young Audiences reaches more than 7 million youth, educators, and families across the United States.
